Cancellation Policy

By booking an Essay Review Session with Triangle Tutoring, you agree to the following terms: 1. Session Format Essay Review Sessions are conducted either: Live (via Google Meet): Students meet one-on-one with a writing tutor for real-time feedback, guidance, and revision support. 2. Scheduling and Cancellations All sessions must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations or rescheduling must be requested no later than 24 hours before the scheduled time. Missed or late-canceled sessions are considered forfeited and will not be refunded or rescheduled. Exceptions may be made in the event of a documented medical emergency or personal crisis, at the discretion of Triangle Tutoring. In such cases, clients must notify us as soon as possible, and we may offer a one-time courtesy reschedule or credit. 3. No Refund Policy Essay Review Sessions and session packages are non-refundable once purchased, including partial refunds for unused time or missed sessions. Please ensure you are ready to commit prior to booking. 4. Session Expiration Unless otherwise specified, all purchased session packages must be used within 3 months of the original purchase date. Unused sessions will expire and cannot be refunded or transferred. 5. Content Scope This service is intended for: Students in grades 6–12 and those enrolled in introductory-level college writing courses. Essays include, but are not limited to personal narratives, analytical writing, persuasive essays, book reports, and basic research papers. We do not offer review or editing services for college application essays, graduate-level work, technical writing, or professional publishing. 6. Academic Integrity We are committed to supporting academic honesty. Tutors provide guidance, suggestions, and skill-building—but will not write or heavily rewrite student work on the student's behalf. 7. Disclaimer on Grading Outcomes While our tutors aim to provide constructive, high-quality feedback to strengthen each student's writing, we do not and cannot guarantee a specific grade or outcome on any reviewed assignment. Final grades are determined solely by the student's instructor and are influenced by multiple factors including adherence to assignment guidelines and grading rubrics (if applicable), individual effort, and timely submission. The effectiveness of our support ultimately depends on the student’s active engagement, revisions, and application of feedback.
